Students Only Do 3 Simple Tips To Greet People Successfully

Students Only Do 3 Simple Tips To Greet People Successfully – English, Just Guided

From home to school, health clinic, hospital, store, airport, or other major public places, greetings is an etiquette to recognize the others’ presence.  After arriving at classroom, normally an English teacher greets his students. ‘Good Morning’, How do you do? How are you? are familiar and still common. In fact, not at all of students who learning English as foreign language are familiarized with other cultural nuances in greetings. How to shake hand, ‘Hey ya’ll, Ay-up or Hiya ’ sounds strange and here are the tips to solve:

First, Understand Someone’s Cultural Nuances in Greetings.

A wise English teacher usually inserts cultural nuances in greetings in learning English. He offers a hand for a handshake to his new students and say some greetings expressions as seen on the following video. People have own etiquette in greetings but let’s compare distinctive ways between Londoners and Americans.

In England people usually offer their right hand for handshake for stranger and say, “How do you do?” They don’t need to crush anybody’s fingers, don’t be too weak and don’t hold on for too long. In short, they do lighter handshake. This etiquette  is different with in America.

Americans rarely shake hands upon leaving in social situations. Some Americans do not shake hands at social events. If it is necessary to shake hand do a firm handshake. Make sure we have to smile and make eye contact with the person we are shaking hands with. This is an etiquette.

Second, Learn Greetings Expressions Completely.

Students who study English as foreign language should enrich their knowledge of the social nuance in greetings with lists of greetings expressions. ‘How do you do?’ as seen on the following table is a British English formal greetings. It sounds ‘antique’  and always becomes unforgettable memory and also still being ‘transmitted” to students in class today.

However ‘How do you do?’ would be off putting in America, as the American like to greet each other with quite casual. They may greet you with a casual “Hello” or “How are you?” or even just “Hi “. It doesn’t mean they have no respect. ‘All men are created equal’ is declared in unique ways.

Third, Good Practice Makes Perfect.

Students need to grasp better knowledge of the diversity. So, always practice English greetings in your daily life well. Don’t forget to read our last post.

  1. I have recently started a web site, the info you offer on this site has helped me greatly. Thank you for all of your time & work. Pearline Hasheem Hastings

    1. Excited Terza Vaughan Mara. This is not a sadness but a motivation in New Year to stay at this site and do more. Some months ago we focused on twitter for some simple videos for learning English vocabularies. You may see at In some weeks ahead we are going to write a new post. Wait and see. Happy New Year 2021

  2. With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems
of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique
content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a
lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any
methods to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d really appreciate it.

  3. I particularly want to encourage the 516 people who read this
blog via email to click on the links and add your feedback–you are the
least likely folks to be accessing the current
archive and might find a question-based one quite useful.
But here, there are many “evergreen” posts dating
back to the beginning with design ideas, analysis, links,
    and interesting projects. We don’t need to design new content;
we have to change the way we invite visitors to use the content we already have.
It will change your workflow–reducing your reliance on email, allowing you to get
and receive on-demand information–and it will require you to be more proactive about “following” activities across the institution. Physical
museums have grown more inclusive in the last 20 years, but
outreach is still a foreign word on our websites. As a counter to the market’s excitement,
I decided to compare the narrative (and value) that I had for Alphabet in November 2015 (after their last earnings report) to the narrative (and value) after this one (in February
2016). In November 2015, my narrative for Google was that it would continue to be
a dominant and profitable player in a growing online advertising market, growing 12% a
year in the near term, maintaining its operating margins (left at 30% in pre-tax terms,
    in perpetuity).

  4. Should I write a review on ExhibitFiles or a blog post on Museum
2.0? All of these? My participation in ExhibitFiles is diminished
because I am also already creating content
in other places on the Web, and my choice about where to publish is primarily
motivated by the value I’ll get back from the experience.
I may or may not attend this year’s Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting, and have a hard time making
up my mind about whether or not to go to SciFoo, because, considering the status
of my joints, it’s a choice between physical and financial
pain, and frankly I’d rather chose neither.
Going back to the original question, you can improve the effectiveness of your website by taking
down walls and making your content usable by visitors in more ways.

Flash experiences also frequently require single starting points and can create nested walled gardens
within the walls of your site. The photograph below shows
the leaf resting after a flash rinse.

I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so
many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
    Any tips? Many thanks!

When I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that,
    wonderful blog!

  9. This design is incredible! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog
(well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!

  10. Hello! This iss kijnd of off topic but I need some
guidance from an established blog. Is it tough to
set upp your own blog? I’m not very techincal buut I can figure things out pretty quick.
I’m thinking about setting up mmy own but I’m not surde where to begin. Do you have any points orr
    suggestions? Thank you

  11. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all.
Nevertheless think about if you added some great photos or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with images and
clips, this blog could definitely be one of the greatest in its
    field. Very good blog!

  12. I like the valuable info you provide in your articles.

I’ll bookmark your weblog and check again here regularly.
I am quite certain I’ll learn lots of new stuff right here!

    Good luck for the next!

  13. Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no
back up. Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?

  14. However, this blog remains by far the best venue for multi-photo
informational and resource posts, so I have no intention of giving it up!
This best nine is in place of my usual year in review blog post.
My very best Facebook posts come from random thoughts that come to me that connect somehow to series
books. A strategy to come back in again around October time to look at the winter, when US soybeans
traditionally post harvest lows and when we will also have a better handle on Vivergo’s timeframe, would seem like a sensible option. No
one likes to log in and comment on blog posts these days, so I’m thinking if you are somehow still reading this, your
odds will be pretty good! But it’s all good.

Your website content should feature a good account of details of services provided by your firm, and going by
the trend, don’t miss on “Why Choose Us” section. Check it out.
BTW, if you find the kit is sold out, you can still shop the individual items on their website.

  15. I’m really inspired together with your writing skills and also with the format in your weblog.
Is that this a paid subject matter or did you customize
it your self? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare
to look a great blog like this one these days..

  16. I’m now not positive the place you’re getting your information, however great topic.
I needs to spend a while studying more or understanding
more. Thank you for excellent info I was looking for this info for my mission.

  17. I just couldn’t depart your web site before suggesting that
I actually enjoyed the standard information a person provide for
your visitors? Is gonna be back often in order to check up on new posts

  18. I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2
images. Maybe you could space it out better?

  19. I have been browsing on-line greater than three hours lately, but
I by no means found any attention-grabbing article like yours.

It is pretty value sufficient for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made excellent
content material as you probably did, the web will
be a lot more helpful than ever before.

  20. Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

  21. Amazing blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advgise starting with a free platform llike WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there
that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any recommendations?
    Thanks a lot!

  22. Hey! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and say I truly enjoy reading through your articles.

    Thank you so much!

  24. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your website.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for
